As the lead illustrator of this project, I was tasked with creating character concepts and illustrations for the Health and Wellbeing Queensland’s family app Podsquad, I focused on developing a lovable ecosystem of creatures designed to appeal to both parents and children. Our collaborative development process involved thorough research, sketching, and refinement to ensure each character could be easily recognized and remembered by users. The result was a delightful set of 42 creatures that played a crucial role in bringing the family-friendly brand of Podsquad to life and eventually winning several awards in Brisbane Advertising and Design Club 2023.

The character concepts ideation stage was done using pencil on paper.

All characters were vector produced to make sure they can all be used across multiple production outputs. Some of these were game and TVC productions.
